Last Saturday night I saw Lindsey Stirling perform in Sydney, Australia.
Due to having hardly friends who had ever heard of her, barely any friends who bothered to find out about her when I invited them (Nothing against the couple of people who had heard of her but couldn't afford the gig - totally understand!)
I went by myself. Because I thought "I'M NOT GOING TO MISS THIS AGAIN."
I got in the line maybe half an hour before doors opened, I didn't think there would be a huge line as there were a couple of hours before she was due to come on. However there were TWO lines, both wrapping around the block on either side. It was so long! The most diverse audience I have ever seen before. Goths, gamers, families, old people, I saw hardly any annoying rave/clubbing people or bearded hipsters. It was amazing!
I got in to the side of the mosh pit and slowly worked my way to the front - it helps being pretty little.
Anyway, the show was beyond amazing, her band are great and they're all really nice, the banter between her her band and the audience was hilarious! It felt like we were all hanging out. Her performance was brilliant, blew me away completely! I found myself thinking about all the people I had invited, anyone and everyone would've enjoyed this concert! People think "Oh dubstep violinist.. Random!" YOU KNOW NOTHING!
I will go again if she ever returns, I will happily go by myself again too.
OR if there's any devianters out there in Sydney who are fans - let's all go!
Anyway regarding the actual photo, I'm not a professional or claim to be, I just have a habit of taking a few gig pics at every show. This was the only one that wasn't 100% blurry! She stood quite still for a few seconds haha.
